What is it about Havelock ?
So what’s the big deal about SeaShell at Havelock Islands? Well, for one, our private beach has more shades of blue than you could make a movie on. Havelock Islands is a picture-postcard-perfect exotic island with white sands and blue skies. The 50 shades of turquoise, and botanical garden of corals, and ‘Schools’ of fish is bound to mesmerise you.
You could stand in knee-deep water just outside our resort, and watch horizontal walls of fish zigzagging by you. Even the tiniest crabs on our beach have so much character that getting bored is really not an option here.
The island is pretty famous for its natural untouched beauty – with some of the top dive sites in the world, plus one of the Asia’s best beaches to swim at.
Lets begin your experience with SeaShell at Havelock Islands.
Arrive at Havelock
You arrive at Havelock Islands and check-in at our best beach resort in Andaman – SeaShell Havelock. You are welcomed with a handmade welcome cap, and refreshing drink on arrival. Relax in our spacious and luxurious rooms and spend some time exploring our private beach before lunch.
Take the time our after lunch to observe the marine wonders within the tidal pools of our beach during low tide. We recommend a guide to explain these magical little creatures and set your vacation to a super great start. Check out our Activities section or ask at the reception.
End your evening with some downtime at our beach-front bar High Tide followed by some satiating seafood speciality dinner at our Bonova Pub & Cafe with Live Music by Padmini and a good night rest in our elegant rooms.
Explore Havelock
Today we are all set to explore the white sandy beaches of Radhanagar, also awarded Best Beach of Asia. Behold the untouched dense Mahua forests you encounter during the drive along its coasts. The little secrets of the islands are waiting to be discovered just beneath its surface. We suggest you take a dip in its crystal clear waters early in the mornings to avoid crowd and the tropical sun. Pack a snack and enjoy it after a soul-filling walk through the forest. We would highly recommend a guide who can show you where the turtles come to feed and maybe spot one if you’re lucky.
Return to a pampering shower, and relax on your hammocks with a drink or nariyal pani to soak into the tropical vibe of the islands. An exquisite lunch in our fine dining restaurant – White Lotus will get you ready for a relatively short and easy hike to our ancient Lava stream. The trek to the stream will be a way to connect with the beautiful geology of our tiny island. Our Naturalist will identify those magical bird-calls along the way. Head back to the resort for some refreshments and later you can spot some incredibly camouflaged stingray pups in knee-deep water at night.
Book these activities from our Habitat Institute Activity Center. Please Ask for Hussain and Anurag – our Naturalist in the reception and you will be well-guided.
Wind up your day with a cocktails and relish the delectable Indian & continental cuisine for dinner at White Lotus.
Elephant Beach
After a well-rested night, onward to Elephant Beach. We recommend a boat ride here but if you are an avid trekker, take the off beat path leading from the forests to this beautiful beach. Try your hand in snorkelling and enjoy other water sports like banana ride or jet skis. Pro tip here is to definitely dipping your toes in these emerald waters and have fun making beach castles.
